A 45-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and racially aggravated fear or provocation of violence.

A 20-year-old man and a 47-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and racially aggravated fear or provocation of violence.

They are all from Thame and all have been released on bail to appear at Abgindon police station on 14 February.

The first incident took place on Monday (18/1) at about 8pm at the entrance of Elms Park from Park Street.

An altercation took place between a 25-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman at the entrance of the park in which both people reported being assaulted. The man also reported that the woman racially abused him.

Later that day, three people approached the man’s home in Van Diemans Road and damaged his front door.

Investigating officer, PC Henry North, based at Abingdon police station, said: “I am appealing for information about either of these two incidents.
