57,690 have died with COVID-19 on the death certificate, according to government statistics on https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/

The government explains this by saying:

"Total number of deaths of people whose death certificate mentioned COVID-19 as one of the causes, registered up to Friday, 25 September 2020.

"Provisional counts of the number of deaths registered in the UK where COVID-19 is mentioned as a cause on the death certificate. The deceased may not have had a confirmed positive test for COVID-19. People who had had COVID-19 but did not have it mentioned on their death certificate as a cause of death are excluded."

18,980 tested positive on Wednesday October 14.

There are currently 4,941 patients in hospital with Coronavirus.

563 of them are on ventilators.

792 were admitted to hospital today.
