Since then the ground has been prepared for the erection of the temporary building containing 35 classrooms, labs and offices. The modules for this are now in the process of being put together.
This part of the programme will continue until early July, allowing all of the furniture and equipment to be moved across in the summer holiday.
Demolition of a number of existing buildings will also happen over the summer break after which the 18 month construction of the new school will commence.

Hide AdSue Collings, CEO of the Ridgeway Learning Partnership, said: "After such a long time preparing for this moment it is incredibly exciting for the students, the parents, the staff and the community to finally see our new building project come to life.
"All of the planning to reach this point has been meticulous but it will have been time well spent when we eventually move into our new state of the art school.
"The students of Tring School will have an amazing building with first class facilities that will enable them to receive an even richer and more successful learning experience.”
The plans for the new school buildings can be seen on the school’s website along with drawings and a virtual “fly-through” showing both interior and exterior views.

This has been made possible with the support of a generous benefactor and the local community. The buildings are also environmentally efficient and will include a number of elements that will make it one of the most sustainable new schools in the country.
