The idea for the competition came after a positive response from students to award-winning poet Karl Nova, who was a guest at the 2020 Bucks Book Award ceremony at Pipers Corner School in February.

The winning poet will receive a signed copy of Karl Nova's book 'Rhythm and Poetry'.

Bucks Book Award are particularly pleased with the response the competition has had given that everyone is currently learning from home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
