Aylesbury Grammar Schoool Student to walk 340 miles for Spinal Cord Injury awareness

13-year-old, Aylesbury Grammar School student, Wilf Amor, is currently taking part in a walking fundraiser challenge to raise money for locally based, Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research, which will see him walk over 300 miles by the end of the month.

We all know that infamous song by popular duo The Proclaimers, well, Wilf will be walking 340 miles in total, the distance from London to Edinburgh, as part of his Duke of Edinburgh charity challenge.

Wilf has already clocked up 306 miles walking around his local area of Dinton and Haddenham so is now on the home strait.

Commenting on his fundraising challenge Wilf said: “This is a really fantastic and local cause so I wanted to do my bit to help support them in these difficult times for small charities who need people like me to get behind them and raise money so they can continue their important work.”
