Transport for Bucks Tweeted this morning: "#HS2 work will be taking place on Oxford Road #Stone from 7th September to 6th October with traffic lights in place for traffic management, the lights will be on site 24hrs a day Please expect delays or consider an alternative route."

These traffic lights will add to congestion in Aylesbury, as two sets of temporary lights in Bierton are already causing long delays.

Questions have been raised about the lack of an alternate route through Stone.

T4B stressed that anybody with any quiries should get in touch with HS2 at [email protected]
