Road works set to disrupt Aylesbury traffic this week

The works are used as part of the 'Strategic Highway Maintenance Programme'.

The work is taking place on the High Street, Exchange Street to Walton Road from Tuesday September 22 to Monday September 28.

The work is carriageway surfacing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7:00pm and 6:00am

There will be further 'patch and plane' work on the following locations:

-Abbey Road, Aylesbury - Hayden Road to END (Monday 21st September to Tuesday 22nd September). Carriageway works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7:00am and 7:00pm

-Jasmine Crescent, Princes Risborough - A4010 to o/s No15 (Tuesday 22nd September to Wednesday 23rd September). Carriageway works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7:00am and 7:00pm

-Mill Street, Aylesbury - Cambridge Street to End (Thursday 23rd September to Friday 25th September). Carriageway works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7:00am and 7:00pm

-St Johns Street, St Johns Road, Aylesbury - Cambridge Street to End (Wednesday 23rd September to Thursday 24th September). Carriageway works using a night time road closure in operation between 7:00pm and 6:00pm

There will also be work on 'footway Structural Repair Programmes on:

Montague Road, Aylesbury - Penn Road (loop) (Monday 21st September to Friday 2nd October)

Footway Improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 7:30am and 4:30pm

Stratton Green, Aylesbury - Either side of Camborne Avenue (Monday 21st September to Tuesday 29th September)

Footway Improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 7:30am and 4:30pm

Furthermore, there will be 'Network Safety Schemes' taking place on

A41, Gatehouse Roundabout, Aylesbury - Roundabout to Petrol Station (Tuesday 22nd September to Thursday 24th September)

Electrical Works for the Zebra Crossing using Multi- Way Traffic Lights in operation between 9:30 am and 15:30pm
