Police respond to claim that man tried to snatch child during broad daylight in Aylesbury

A man, in a blue car approached three children while driving near Mandeville Park in Aylesbury.

TVP described the man as: "A man, with black hair and a black beard, who drove away in a car, believed to be blue or grey."

Police said there was no attempt made to snatch anybody, and there have been no reports of anything similar.

TVP added: "Our local neighbourhood policing team have been informed for awareness and for local intelligence, but there is no suggestion of any offence having taken place."
