Police hunt woman after Rolex stolen in Thame

Thames Valley Police is releasing images of a woman officers would like to speak to following a theft in Thame.

Between 12.40pm and 1pm on Monday 14 December the victim, a 72-year-old man, was approached outside Robert Dyas in Buttermarket, Thame when he was approached by a woman who asked a few questions before stealing a watch from the victim’s wrist.

A stainless steel Rolex watch was stolen. The victim did not sustain any injuries.

Investigating officer PC Edward Dodd, based at Abingdon police station, said: “If you recognise this woman, or if you think it could be you, please get in touch.

“Likewise, if you witnessed this incident or have any information, we would like to hear from you.
