Police hunt criminal who absconded from prison near Aylesbury but warn public not to approach him

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in locating a man who has absconded from HM Prison Springhill in Buckinghamshire.

Clint Butler, aged 36, absconded overnight on Sunday (29/11).

He is white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of thin build, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Butler also has a tattoo of a black panther on the left side of his chest

He is known to frequent the Shard End area of Birmingham.

PC Maureen Moore, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in locating Butler.

“If you see him, please do not approach him but call 999 instead.

“Anyone who has any information can call police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43200399912.

“Alternatively if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
