Jobs: Do you work for a top boss?

A search is on to find employers and bosses who do the most for their personal assistants.

The Executive PA Magazine / Hays Awards 2012 will be looking to award the titles Employer of the Year and Boss of the Year.

Employer of the Year will recognise organisations that go the extra mile to support and develop the careers of their administrative and secretarial staff, and employers can be nominated by personal assistants, executive assistants, secretaries and office managers.

Boss of the Year will be awarded to the boss who demonstrates a strong working relationship with their personal assistant, which benefits their career and organisation.

Geoff Sims, managing director at recruiter Hays PA & Secretarial, said: “We want to recognise commitment to supporting administrative staff, which will help attract and retain the most talented PAs out there.

“We have been celebrating the successes of high achieving PAs for six years through the Hays PA of the Year Awards, and every year the finalists impress us with their enthusiasm and dedication to the role. We know that excellent PAs can transform an organisation, and look forward to working with Executive PA Magazine to identify our 2012 winners.”

Other award categories are: PA of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Best Organised Event.

Entries close on July 31 and all finalists would need to be available to attend the awards ceremony on Thursday September 13 in London. To enter visit: www.ExecutivePA.com/awards.
