Jobs; Apprenticeships are booming
The National Apprenticeship Service says almost 370,000 applications for the learn while you earn schemes were submitted online between February and April, up by more than 32 per cent, compared to last year.

Hide AdApprenticeship vacancies also witnessed significant growth. More than 32,600 vacancies were advertised online in the three months, an increase of almost 15 per cent. And on April 26, there were 17,700 live vacancies online, the highest number recorded.
Skills minister Matthew Hancock MP said: “With more vacancies than ever before, Apprenticeships are fast becoming the norm for young people who want to achieve their career goals through an alternative route to University.
“We want more employers to take advantage of the advice and support available from the National Apprenticeship Service and consider how hiring an apprentice could benefit their business.”
