Here's how many vaccines have been administered in Buckinghamshire

Here's the vaccination picture in our area.

New NHS data has revealed how many coronavirus vaccines have been given out in each part of the country.

NHS England published the first weekly localised breakdown of coronavirus vaccinations administered today (Thursday).

So, how many vaccines have been administered in our local areas?

Our vaccine provider - Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West STP have administered 111,829 vaccines.

This breaks down further:

Under 80s: 57,069

80+: 54,760

All ages: 111,829

In the South East, which includes Aylesbury, on average 6,600 people per 100,000 are being vaccinated (all ages) per week.

Vaccine Centres in Aylesbury are now open at the Odeon Cinema in town, and at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
