Grade II listed Buckingham town centre pub hits the market with 20-year offer
An Aylesbury Vale pub, which is Grade II listed, is on the market in Aylesbury Vale.
Interested parties can enquire about agreeing a leasehold on The Three Cups located in Buckingham.
Christie & Co, which is selling the property, says the bar is available on a leasehold for 20 years. It is located in Bridge Street and is currently closed, but it is hoped that its central location will appeal to buyers.
The Three Cups only recently shut its doors and it is claimed that the property stopped trading due to the expiration of the previous lease on the building.

Christie & Co describes the pub as one with a traditional layout with space for 50 covers at its rear bar. The property adviser found that previously a majority of the business’ sales came from drinks, and it benefits from its central location near shops and other hospitality attractions.
The property company also confirmed that the leaseholder will inherit what has been described as a substantial manager’s accommodation which covers two floors and has five bedrooms and generous living spaces.
Christie & Co revealed that the building has the scope for other uses which could include reconfiguring the layout or opening kitchen.
The lease on offer is described as a free-of-tie deal with a nil premium and an annual rent of £35,000.
Tim Widdows, associate director at Christie & Co, is managing the sale process and said, “Occupying a prominent position in Buckingham, The Three Cups offers an excellent opportunity to relaunch a traditional pub with a refreshed trading approach.”
