Fairford Leys Residents warned as 'a number of vehicles' robbed this week

The Aylesbury Agility Team have issued a warning to Fairford Leys residents after a spate of thefts in the area.

The Aylesbury Agility Team wrote to their facebook page:

"Unfortunately we are becoming increasingly aware that a number of FFL residents have experienced theft from vehicles overnight between 06/01 and 07/01.

"If anyone is aware of such incidents and have not yet spoken to us please do get in touch.

"Likewise if you are aware of, or have CCTV that may assist please make contact with us, we will also be making contact with those that have posted footage online.

"Now that we are aware of these incidents, you will notice an increased presence of officers in the local area. Please don’t hesitate to stop and talk to our officers or PCSO’s if you see them out and about.

"Additionally, we would always ask that if you see or suspect a crime is taking place, you call 999. Likewise if you see or hear something you think is suspicious, please call 999.

"We can see from the numerous Facebook posts some of you have chosen to report this online via our website and we thank you for that. However, there is a understandably a delay in processing that information and your reports actually getting to the officers on the ground.

"As always, we thank you for your vigilance."
