Economy body goes out on a Limb with Dr Ann

A LEADING member of the business community in Milton Keynes has been appointed to chair a regional economic growth partnership.

Dr Ann Limb OBE DL will take over the reins at the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) from September 30.

SEMLEP’s role is to deliver sustainable economic growth across the area by working with businesses and councils.

Dr Limb is currently a non-executive director of Milton Keynes based company DRS Data Research and Services. She also holds directorships of two other enterprises – briteyellow, an innovative, super fast wireless broadband provider and Skills2Learn. She has also founded two successful social enterprises – the Women Leadership Network and the Helena Kennedy Foundation.
