The family-run Nunc Living, in Church Street, North Marston, launched just three months ago after the first lockdown delayed its original planned start last spring.

Nunc Living says the delay has allowed it to perfect a range of award winning handcrafted sparkling green tea drinks – called Jun-Kombucha – which is a non-alcoholic beverage aimed at those who want a tasty and healthy alternative to alcohol.

Diana Hogbin-Mills, who founded the business with her husband and headbrewer, Andrew, said: “It is ideal for those who wish to celebrate Dry January, or moderate after the excesses of the festive period.”

Nunc is fermented using raw Buckinghamshire honey, green tea, which is then cold infused with botanicals.

Diana said: “When we started we used our own honey, from hives we have in our back yard, but we now also purchase honey from other beekeepers who live within five miles of ourselves.

“We’ planned to launch the business in April last year, but lockdown changed our plans, so we had to make the best of the situation. We sold to a select local shops and to friends and family, but this gave us the opportunity to refine the flavours and make plans. In November, we launched the business properly.”
