Buckinghamshire Council urge families to follow Coronavirus guidance after cases at Aylesbury Grammar School

A statement from the Buckinghamshire Council read:

“We have had confirmation that one student at Aylesbury Grammar School has tested positive for Covid-19 which has required the School to isolate a form group in year 8 as well as a number of students, that under the Government Guidance, have had contact.

"They will be self-isolating for the next 14 days.

"These students have access to remote home learning so will be continuing their studies whilst at home."

Aylesbury Grammar School has also reached out to parents to stress how important it is they read and learn the Government guidelines concerning coronavirus.

The School will continue to follow these guidelines and will act as appropriate if any further cases are identified.

The statement continued:

"We would urge all Buckinghamshire residents to continue to follow the government guidelines (shown below) and should any member of their household develop coronavirus symptoms or if they think they may have been in close contact with someone who’s tested positive and are displaying symptoms themselves, get a Covid-19 test.”
