Hide AdRob said: “I’m extremely grateful to the local volunteers who have dedicated themselves to helping out at our vaccination hubs – doing everything from administering jabs to providing one-to-one support for more vulnerable patients.
“They’ve given up many hours for their training at local sites, and are now starting to join teams at mass vaccination sites across Buckinghamshire.”
St John is helping to enlist, train and roll-out more than 30,000 volunteers to support the vaccination programme in England, and its local training centres provide recruits for deployment throughout the NHS.

Rob added: “From crewing ambulances for our local ambulance service to supporting clinicians at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, St John’s volunteers have already been supporting our NHS during coronavirus and now they’re also joining our local vaccination drive.
“Coronavirus continues to challenge us, but these local volunteers are working tirelessly in our fight against it and I would like to thank everyone who has given their time and expertise to help overcome this virus in Buckinghamshire.”
