This Ashridge event isn’t half appealing!

Organisers of the first Ashridge Half Marathon hope that this serene scene will entice enthusiastic athletes to sign up for next month’s event and boost numbers after a slow start.

So far fewer than 50 people have registered for the charity race which will raise vital fundsfor Tring-based Rennie Grove Hospice Care The maximum number of entries organisers can accept is 250.

Entry is just £17, but each participant is asked to raise £100 in sponsorship for the good cause.

The charity hopes that the chance to run through the beautiful Ashridge countryside will be a big draw for runners.
