John Travolta takes to the London stage for a night of conversation

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear first hand from one of the world’s biggest stars about his career and life - he may even tell a story or two about his visit to Leighton Buzzard’s Narrow Gauge Railway!

The event is being held in the beautiful setting of The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on February 16 at 6pm and will be hosted by TV chat show host Jonathan Ross.

Travolta, who was first catapulted to international stardom in the 1970s blockbuster Saturday Night Fever, will treat the audience to an intimate evening of anecdotes about his illustrious career, private insights from his life as one of the world’s most admired screen idols as well as taking part in a special question and answer session with audience members.

A Conversation with John Travolta is produced by Rocco Buonvino & Joe Ricotta in conjunction with the Really Useful Theatres group and follows their recent outing with movie hardman Sylvester Stallone at the London Palladium and last year’s An Evening with Al Pacino.

In a career spanning four decades the actor has been in many of Hollwood’s biggest box office successes, from the global smash-hit musical Grease alongside Olivia Newton-John to the Look Who’s Talking franchise.

He has been honoured twice with Best Actor Oscar nominations, the latest for his riveting portrayal of a philosophical hit-man in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. He also received BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for this highly acclaimed role and was named Best Actor by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, among other distinguished awards.

But the star earned his first Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for his role as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever.

As an enthusiastic pilot, Travolta currently holds 11 jet licenses. His personal 707 aircraft is painted in the original Qantas V-Jet livery and bears the name Jett Clipper Ella in honor of his children.
