Steve presents deadly show

From Saturday July 25 to Monday July 27, the presenter will host four 30-minute Deadly Summer Shows.

Each show will end with a question an answer session in which children and young people are invited to ask extreme questions about their favourite creatures.

He is best known as one of the presenters of BBC TV’s Deadly 60.

Steve’s other BBC work includes being part of the expedition teams in Lost Land of the Tiger, Lost Land of the Volcano and Lost Land of the Jaguar, and he has worked for the National Geographic Channel and the Discovery Channel.

He said: “My mum and dad were my biggest inspiration as a kid, encouraging us to get outside at every opportunity.

“It’s great seeing reactions from kids of five right up to grandparents in their eighties. I guess the fact is that if they’re into wildlife, then they’ll enjoy it!

“The programme I am most proud of would probably be Lost Land of the Volcano, where we discovered new species and went into places never before explored

“Aside from shows at Whipsnade I am writing my next book for youngsters in the Falcon Chronicles series.”
