Rock’n’Roll at the British Legion

This month’s band are The Downtown Daddyo’s, who perform songs from artists like Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Johnny Preston, Bobby Darin and Johnny Ray.

With a wealth of knowledge on rock’n’roll music, featuring former members of The Firebirds and Rockin’ the Joint, the band play their songs with the intention of making you either tap your feet or get up on the dance floor and jive the night away while enjoying the music.

Formed in January 2010 The Downtown Daddyo’s have already received acclaim from rock’n’roll clubs, weekend festivals, and all-day events where they have played and have had superb reviews in the rock’n’roll music press.

The evening also features rock ‘n’ roll DJ ‘The Tartan Ted’. Entrance is payable on the door. Doors open at 7.30pm and non members are welcome.
