One night music shows at the Waterside

November is a month of music at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury with some of the best live music acts and tribute shows on the circuit.

Top of the bill is the county’s most successful folk band Bellowhead. And after the band announced their intention to call it a day, this could be one of the last chances to see them perform live.

In characteristically ambitious style, the band announced a two part farewell tour to take place in November this year and April next year.

The band play the Waterside at 7.30pm on Sunday November 22, but you will have to act fast if you want a ticket.

All seated tickets are now sold out, but a handful of standing tickets remain.

Legendary American songwrite, virtuoso guitarist and pianist Nils Lofgren makes his Aylesbury debut when he takes to the stage at 8pm on Tuesday (November 10). Tickets from £37.40.

Motown’s Greatest Hits - How Sweet It Is, celebrates the sweet sound of Motown in a stunning live show with first class music, slick choreography and an amazing band at 7.30pm on Monday November 16. Tickets cost from £25.50.

And then there is a complete change of genre two days later with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at 7.30pm on Wednesday November 18. The orchestra will perform Beethoven’s celebrated depiction of country life with Symphony No. 6, Pastoral while leading violinist Matthew Trusler will perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto. The following day Abba Mania arrives in town with a tribute to the Swedish supergroup at 7.30pm on Thursday November 19. Tickets from £14.50.

And Mercury - The Ultimate Queen Tribute, who have established themselves as one of the world’s most authentic tributes to Queen, bring their show to the theatre at 7.30pm on Saturday November 21, with all the popular Queen hits including Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are The Champions. Tickets from £18.

And there is plenty more music to enjoy during the month including Sing-a-long-a-Frozen on Sunday November 15; tribute show Westcoast - The Beach Boys on Friday November 20; and the Grimethorpe Colliery Band on Sunday November 29, performing a spectacular programme of festive favourites in the lead up to Christmas.

But music isn’t the only genre on the programme for November.

There are lots more shows including comedy and circus skills.
