Feast, drink and be merry
A brand new festival weekend takes place in the grounds of Waddesdon this year.
Feast will see a celebration of food and entertainment, with visitors invited to either bring their own picnic or buy scrumptious food from 50 different stallholders.
A 150 metre long decorated table will be placed in front of the historic Rothschild manor during the weekend in June, and while visitors enjoy eating they will also be entertained.
The Young Pilgrims Marching Band will welcome visitors on arrival and with various performances throughout the weekend.
Visitors will be invited to take part and learn from a dance teacher with the Ragroof Players Tea Dance, or just indulge in delicious cake and a cup of tea to watch as the dancers bring a touch of vintage glamour to the event.
There will be acrobatic performances from Mimbre and tales to enjoy from silent movie characters The Lost Luggage Porters.
A taste of Wimbledon will return to the North Front where Edward VII once enjoyed a game of tennis during a visit to Waddesdon. Anyone For Tennis will bring a pristine court, dead posh umpire and highly strung players to entertain one and all in a thrilling one set match.
The Feast weekend takes place on Saturday June 20 and Sunday 21 from 10am - 5pm on both days. The charge to adults is £11, children £6, and a family ticket will cost £28.
