Elton and The Bumnotes in charity rock at The Court Theatre!

There hopefully won’t be a bum note when a group of talented musicians join Elton Tom and The Rocket Men for a night of fund-raising fun at The Court Theatre on Saturday, October 6.

The Bumnotes formed in 1984 and have been providing live music for local organisations such as PTAs, Round Tables and Rotary Clubs, as well as private functions (weddings, birthday parties) ever since.

The eight band members, who are mainly ex-Round Table and ex-Ladies Circle, perform rock and roll favourites from the 50s and 60s. Their fees go entirely to charity and, to-date, nearly £50,000 has been given to local organisations or those charities with specific relevance to band members.

Elton Tom (alias Tom Devonshire) is now joined by The Rocket Men (Alan Morrow, Danny Prendergast and Dave Reece), all local musicians from Aylesbury, Pitstone and Tring, creating a first-class Elton John tribute band.

The show starts at 7.30pm and the tickets, £15, include a fish and chip supper with proceeds to be shared between the MS Centre, Halton and the Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation at St Thomas’s Hospital.

For tickets call Brian on 01442 824778.
