Drone gives a different perspective of Berryfields, Brill Windmill and Waterside

An amateur photographer has taken to using an aerial drone to snap some of the Vale's most recognisable sights.

Tom Hindley, 22, who lives in Fairford Leys, bought a drone six months ago and has used it to take pictures of landmarks including the Waterside Theatre and Brill Windmill.

He said: “I went to a drone show at the NEC in Birmingham and that sparked my interest. I wanted to get a different perspective on the area and I hope the photos give that.

“The reaction has mainly been positive, sometimes in fields I get walkers or joggers stop because they are interested in what I am doing.

“I have also taken picturesof other towns including Reading and Derby.”

Mr Hindley works as a medical engineer in Aston Clinton.He has recently been flying his drone over some of the areas pictured here, including Berryfields.
