After the tremendous success of Oakfest beer and music festival over the past three years, it is now to become an annual event.

This year’s fourth festival in June will see 11 bands and artists, many local to Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, take to the stage with music from rock to folk, country to blues.

A fully stocked bar will feature 10 real ales, local ciders, and lots of lager. There will also be a Pimms tent, a barbecue and a traditional tea tent.

For the children there will be a craft activity tent and bouncy castle, ice creams, sweeties and even a selfie station.

Rugby-Tots will be running rugby sessions and ASL will lead a street dance workshop and provide a chance to go Zorbing.

The festival will take place at Oakley Church of England Combined School from 1pm through to midnight on Saturday June 10.

All monies raised will go towards providing equipment and learning resources for the school and pre-school and towards the running costs of St Mary’s Church in Oakley.

Visitors are encouraged to take a deck chair or blanket and to enjoy being entertained.

The bands will include The Dung Beatles, Cooper Black, Baz Frances Duarte, The Band With No Name, Bright Shadows, 2am Blue and Cherry Smoke.

Tickets are available on the gate on the day or in advance online from www.cuatoakfest.co.uk or from the school office. Call 01844 238364 or email office@oakley.bucks.sch.uk
