Aylesbury’s The Only Way is Essex spoof lines up for second series

Make no mistake, there are no fake tans and ‘vajazzles’ with the cast and creators of The Only Made in Aylesbury.

The Only Way is Essex spoof internet show is set to return for a second series this month.

Ben Greenwood, who plays Barry Wocks and films the show, said: “We had people going ‘do some more, do some more.’ Well not a lot of people, probably two people.”

The five-man cast of Ben, James Ewart, Jason Harris, Greg Hickson and Juan Riberio base the drama on life in Aylesbury, although with a few exaggerations.

“The main theme is failure, really,” said Ben.

Juan, who plays Johnny Ribena, chips in.

“It’s definitely our character flaws amplified.”

With filming close to completion, the crew have just released a teaser trailer on their YouTube page and have big plans for the future and a third series.

Ben added: “Next year we might go up to London and go to the Natural History museum.

“People have ideas and put them on our Facebook page.”
