Vardy double fires Tring Athletic through to St Mary’s Cup final
Tring Athletic enjoyed an emphatic 3-0 win last night over Sun Sports to book their place in the final of the St Mary’s Cup.
Julian Robinson’s side will now go on to meet either Hemel Hempstead Town or Leverstock Green in the competition climax.
Tring took the lead in the first half through leading scorer Chris Vardy and then added two late goals through Vardy again and a cracker from young Luke Dunstan.
It was a fine performance by the young Tring side against a tough, physical Sun outfit who are still in the race for the SSML Premier Division runners-up spot.
