Jack jumping for joy after winning chance to walk out with football heroes in World Cup qualifier

editorial image

Lucky young Aylesbury football nut Jack Empson has won the chance to walk out at Millennium Stadium with the Welsh and Scottish Football teams before their World Cup qualifier on Friday.

It promises to be a fantastic day out for Jack, nine, who as a ‘McDonald’s Player Escort’ will walk out with the likes of Gareth Bale, Darren Fletcher and Aaron Ramsey as they go head to head in the third round of World Cup qualifying matches.

The nine-year-old, who won the prize after entering a national competition via McDonald’s website Kickstart, said he can’t wait to walk out with his football heroes.

He said: “I have told all of my friends at school and they are all really jealous!”

For further information on McDonald’s involvement in grassroots football and to find out about other opportunities to win the chance to become a player escort, apply for club grants or win a visit from a ‘football ambassador’, visit www.mcdonalds.co.uk/kickstart
