FC emulate Manchester United to storm back from 2-0 down to win five-goal thriller 3-2
Aylesbury FC made it six wins in a row after beating Biggleswade 3-2 but did things the hard way after the visitors went 2-0 ahead before Wayne O’Sullivan started an amazing comeback with 14 minutes remaining.
Brian Haule headed in with eight minutes left before breaking through and scoring with only three minutes left on the clock.
“I lost my head a little bit last night in terms of excitement,” said delighted manager Craig Faulconbridge.
“They are going to be really excited about what they are doing but come training we have got to bring them back down to earth. We are work men and it’s got to be ‘let’s get back to work’.
“I don’t see the run ending. The run will last as long as we keep believing.
“We are going to become a team that’s targeted.
“It was going to come. I would have believed we would have won even if we were 2-0 down with five minutes to go!”
