Aylesbury United Walking Football Club progressed to the regional stages of the Walking Football United National tournament with an emphatic 8-0 win over Milton Keynes.

Carrying a 5-2 lead from the first leg, it was a possibility that the side would park the bus. An early goal, and a 4-0 lead at half-time dispelled that. What followed was a disciplined performance watched and enjoyed by Aylesbury United chairman Graham Read, plus other board members and club officials Ken Turnbull, Martyn Shaw,

Ron Schmidt and Stuart Clark. Goals came from Richard Dean (3), Peter Chilcott (3), Neil Butler and Dougie Foster.

The draw for the regional stage takes place at the end of June, where AUWFC are confident of progressing.
