FC boss hoping players react after dropped points
Aylesbury FC go into Saturday's home game with Kingsbury London Tigers with no new injury concerns after their disappointing 0-0 draw with Brimsdown Rovers.
And FC boss Mark Eaton is hoping his side can rediscover the form they showed against Tring last week. Eaton was left frustrated after his team dropped two points in their quest for promotion.
Their match against Rovers came just days after a superb 2-0 win against title rivals Tring Athletic, and Eaton said he had hoped for a similar performance last Saturday.
Although his side remain top of the table, Eaton said: "I think we were lucky to get 0-0, we just didn't turn up and we didn't pass the ball in our normal way.
"The back four were exceptional, but the rest of the team didn't play at all well."
And he continued: "One of the things I just can't fathom in football is how we can play so well on Tuesday (against Tring) and then play like that on the Saturday."
FC did have a Kevin Mealor goal ruled out in the first half for offside. And in the 85th minute, Aylesbury survived a penalty scare as it ended in stalemate.
