AYLESBURY United reflected on an action-packed season last weekend - when they held their annual Presentation Evening.
Held at the Ex-Services Club on Saturday May 3, the Ducks' Ladies side joined their male counterparts from the youth, reserve and first-team ranks.

Playmaker Sam Swonnell enjoyed his evening, picking up manager Tony Thompson's Player of the Year Award and the coveted Players' Player of the Year Award. Talented left-footer Kevin Mealor was voted the Supporters' Player of the Year, while powerful centre-half Carl Kavanagh was crowned Young Player of the Year.

Striker Nathan Graham, meanwhile, picked up the AFS Internet Player of the Year.

Reserve team hotshot Stuart Proctor picked up a trophy for topping the goalscoring charts in Hellenic League Reserve Division Two (East), while youth-teamers Jack Sillitoe and Lee Biswell shared their side's Player of the Year award.

For the Ducks Ladies, Leigh Read emulated Swonnell by bagging two trophies - the Most Improved Award and the Players Player of the Year.
Afterwards, First Team manager Thompson said: "The evening went really well and everyone seemed to have a good night. It was also nice to have the Presentation Evening when the season had just ended and was fresh in the memory."

Casting his gaze forward to the new season, Thompson confirmed he was generally happy with his current squad, but looking forward to the return of Liam Smyth, Matt Butler and Glenn Hawkins from long-term injuries in the summer.
