POPULAR local musician Loz Jones has penned a special song to boost Aylesbury United's campaign for a new ground.
Scheduled for release on Monday April 21, the single "Bring The Ducks Home", will be released by Jam Central Records on CD as well as a digital download, and will be available in all good record shops and download sites.

The CD is also accompanied with an animated video.

Proceeds from the sales of the song will be donated back to Aylesbury United to help them continue to fund their campaign and continue to build support and media attention to assist them in securing a new stadium in Aylesbury.

Loz Jones said: " I hope this song raises the profile and awareness of the current problem and encourages Aylesbury people to push for a new ground back in Aylesbury and get behind the team on Saturday afternoons."

The Ducks currently play their 'home' games at Chesham United's ground, but need to return to the town as soon as possible to be financially viable and easily accessible to its current fans and for a future generation of supporters.

The Club also needs a base to support its Youth development, Reserves and Ladies section.

Aylesbury United Vice Chairman John Newman said: "Everyone at the Club is really excited about the release of the new single.

"Loz has really captured the essence of the campaign, what we are fighting for to highlight its fantastic 110 year history, and to bring the Club back to Aylesbury for the future generation."

"I'm sure the 'Bring the Ducks Home' theme will be sung by everyone who hears it, as it's so catchy and will help generate even more support for the campaign," he added.

Other local celebrities who are supporters of the 'Bring The Ducks Home' campaign include Aylesbury legend John Otway, who was photographed wearing the campaign T-Shirt and Baseball cap.

Another famous face and supporter is original Marillion vocalist and songwriter FISH, who returned home to Aylesbury last summer to headline the Hobble on the Cobbles live music festival in Market Square.
