"Goalkeeping crisis may have cost us 10 points"

DUCKS boss Tony Thompson believes his side's goalkeeping merry-go-round may have cost them 10 league points last season.
And the no-nonsense manager has vowed to solve Aylesbury United's goalkeeping crisis over the summer.
Thompson has been forced into a number of goalkeeping reshuffles since the turn of the year due to regular keeper Tom Vincent's work commitments.
Vincent has flitted in and out of Thompson's starting line-up - and potential replacements such as Lee Clark from Berkhamsted and John Beames from Burnham have failed to pin down the position in his absence.
The Ducks boss this week admitted the uncertain situation had affected his side's Southern League promotion hopes, but felt young stopper Jack Sillitoe's string finish to the season boded well for the future.
He said: "The goalkeeping situation has cost us anything up to 10 points this year. By the start of next season, though, Tom will have finished his probation period (with London Underground) and will hopefully be able to commit to us.
However, Jack has been fantastic at the end of the season and shown me the level he needs to produce to be a first-team keeper."
