AFTER a two-month delay the sun stayed out for the Risborough Horse Show at the weekend.
The show which celebrates its 30th birthday this year was postponed from July 15 due to the wet weather, but people gathered in the sunshine at Laurel Farm in Longwick last Sunday to enjoy the annual event.

The novelty dog show was cancelled, but a horse and hound competition took place as planned. People enjoyed the traditional show-jumping and rosettes were given out to horse riders and trainers in a range of categories including Best Young Handler and Best Family Pony.

Every year the event has raised at least £1,000 for local charities and they hope they have done the same this year.
