ALL SOULS SERVICE. St Mary's Church, Ivinghoe with Pitstone, is holding a special All Souls Service at 8pm on Friday November 2.
"Late autumn seems to encourage quiet reflection," said Vicar Tracey Doyle.
"For many it can also be a time when the pain of bereavement is felt particularly keenly. The service is for those who would like to have a chance to remember their loved ones who have died, both in the recent and not so recent past."
The service is not restricted to those who have had a funeral service in church. "It is an open invitation to anyone who has lost a loved one," said Tracey.

SONGS OF PRAISE. The next Sunday Songs of Praise in Yardley Lounge will take place at 3pm on October 28. Tea and cake will be provided and if anyone would like to choose their favourite hymn there will be a list on the notice-board at the back of the lounge, or phone Tracey on 01296 668260.
