TODAY'S online calendar pictures capture the moment a cow brought a train to a halt on a railway track near Haddenham.
Thanks to Geoff Plumb for these wonderful pictures which show the cow firstly walking onto the track and then along it in front of the train itself.

The bizarre incident took place on the railway line between Haddenham and the A4129 bridge near Kingsey. Mr Plumb was on a nearby public footpath photographing new trains when he spotted the cow. He said: "It seems drivers and the signaller were aware that it was there as all trains were passing very slowly or came to a stand from about 3.50pm to 4.30pm on Saturday May 3.

People from local farms and a representative from Network Rail attended the scene to get the animal off of the track and apart from the delays there were no other consequences of this incident.
