The lady who died at the Old Stoke Road railway crossing in Aylesbury has been named.

Mercedes Guadalupe Palomero, 31 of Prebendal Avenue, died on Wednesday when she was struck by a train as she rode her bike over the crossing.

An inquest into her death was opened on Monday and the coroner listed the cause of death as multiple injuries.

The full inquest, which will examine the circumstances surrounding the incident will be held in due course by Buckinghamshire’s coroner.
