A man has been taken to hospital after he fell from the Bourg Walk bridge this morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene at around 11.40am, after eyewitnesses spotted the incident.
The man fell off the bridge onto the railway tracks below.
Train services were suspended until he had been treated and transported to hospital.
One eyewitness said that she saw a man carrying an Argos carrier bag falling from the bridge.
The road leading to the station concourse was cordoned off while help was given to the man.
It has since been reopened, and rail services have resumed.
