UPDATED: Runaway rams were also spotted at hospital
Another sighting of a pair of 'rare breed' rams has been reported at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The rams were spotted at the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Later that afternoon police got the bizarre call reporting the rams, which have been described by a witness as 'rare breeds', had been spotted running along Exchange Street into oncoming traffic.
The scenes were described as 'manic' by one witness who said both of the rams were brown and one had horns.
The woolly wonders then wandered into the multi-storey car park opposite the new Waterside Theatre where police attempted to round them up.
Police have confirmed they were called to the incident but it is not yet known for certain where the rams escaped from, or indeed how.
Bucks Herald reader, Anne Maciejewski, says she and her sons saw the rams at Stoke Mandeville Hospital earlier on Wednesday afternoon.
She said: "My two sons and I saw the sheep - a male and a female I think as only one had horns - running round the grounds of Stoke Mandeville Hospital at around 3.30pm.
"Everyone was bemused to see them. We saw them at a side door to the Spinal Injuries Unit, then they ran off towards Lower Road. I'm just surprised they made it to the centre of town unscathed."
