UPDATE: Police descend on Aylesbury’s Enid Blyton House - man arrested

A police opperation in Wycliffe End Aylesbury has come to a safe conclusion.

It is believed the the man locked himself in his room at the Enid Blyton House address, and police were speaking to him as he leans out of an upstairs window.

Two ambulances are also at the scene.

Residents of Wycliffe End gathered in the street, many concerned by the huge amount of police cars in the narrow road.

The car park at Enid Blyton House is was closed, but the footpath was open to members of the public.

Police confirmed that the incident came to a safe conclusion and a man was arrested.
