Thieves used a ladder and a metal pole to steal a mountain bike worth £1,000 from a bike shop.
Between 1.15am and 1.30am on Thursday, March 26, the offenders got in a first floor window of Buckingham Bikes in Buckingham Street, Aylesbury using a ladder and a metal pole to smash the glass.
They then took the bike, which is a medium white and black Giant Talon 27.50 mountain bike worth £1,000.
The shop’s manager Daniel Jones said he rushed to the scene after being woken up by a phone call from the alarm company.
Mr Jones, 48, who first opened Buckingham Bikes 18 years ago, said: “I got got there at around 2.30am and saw that they had taken the bike, so I called the police.”
