Commuters who catch the train inside London could be affected by a Tube strike which begins at 6.30pm this evening.
Chiltern Railways services will be unaffected on the route from London to Aylesbury via Amersham, and at the London Underground managed station it serves.
How the strike may affect you:
Today: Aylesbury via Amersham line will run normally, however, it will need to close earlier than usual due to availability of London Underground signallers. This means that the last southbound train will be at 21.30 from Aylesbury Vale Parkway to London Marylebone, and the last northbound train will be the 22.12 London Marylebone to Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Later trains will go to Aylesbury via the High Wycombe line and Chiltern Railways will run a shuttle bus service between Aylesbury and Great Missenden.
Tomorrow: Aylesbury via Amersham line will run normally from around 9.30pm. In the early morning, trains from Aylesbury will run via High Wycombe with two shuttles connecting passengers from Great Missenden to Aylesbury. From around 7am services from Aylesbury will run non-stop from Great Missenden. After around 9.30am services will run as normal. This will continue until the end of the day.
