St Joseph's is key to a unique Aylesbury
I THINK we should keep St Joseph's as it adds to diversity of our town and is part of its uniqueness.
Too many towns are being made clones, which does not make them appealing.
Towns should have all manner of buildings, not just shops.
Shops can be great and serve many purposes, but having the
option to go to mass at St Joseph's brings a richness that shops could not match.
St Joseph's, the National Trust bookshop and cafe, the Methodist Church centre and the church in the old part of town all have their place. They forge communities. St Joseph's is a diverse and vibrant church.
It may be Roman Catholic, but all are welcome, especially for a moment of piece in the midst of sometimes too much business.
It serves a rainbow congregation from many different countries.
There is music and spirituality. It may not be the prettiest
building, but it has more character than many of the new buildings of today. It is inside what counts and St Joseph's never disappoints.

Aylesbury
I HAVE grown up going to St Joseph's Church is a symbol in our town and one we cannot afford to lose if we want to retain any shred of character Aylesbury High Street still has.
