The time is drawing near for the popular Roald Dahl Festival with a fabulous parade through town from schools and community groups dressed up as popular Dahl characters.
The fantabulous scrumdiddlyumptious Dahl themed day starts at 11am on Saturday July 4 with a parade from St Mary’s Church.
Hundreds of children and young people from across the Vale will carry puppets and original artwork as they take part in the parade which will also feature live music and street theatre.
This year will see the debut performance of Aylesbury’s very own samba band Cidade Pato.
After the colourful parade there will be loads to do with workshops, storytelling, a jazz band and face painting in several locations across the town centre.
