Have you recieved the wrong Council Tax bill?

Council Tax payers across the vale have received the wrong bill..

A statement from AVDC said: "We have been alerted to an error in the council tax bills that have been sent out to households in Aylesbury Vale. We would like to reassure residents that the total amount on their bill, as well as the monthly charge, is correct.

"The mistake occurs in the detailed breakdown of the overall bill, where the percentage for Bucks County Council’s provision for adult social care has been incorrectly apportioned. We can confirm, however, that no additional charge for adult social care has been added to the bill.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused to residents and are carrying out a full investigation into how this error occurred. We will be contacting every household in the Vale to give them the correct breakdown and to offer further reassurance that the amount they have been charged for their council tax is accurate."
