Police appeal for return of laptop stolen in Aylesbury burglary
Police are appealing for the return of a laptop which was stolen during a burglary in Aylesbury.
Thieves gained entry to a property in Churchill Avenue sometime between Thursday June 18 and Sunday June 21 and stole a laptop, a Sony MP3, a mini stereo, computer consoles, a Technika television, computer games and jewellery.
The victim is appealing for the thieves or the person in possession of her laptop to return it to the police as it contained irreplaceable photos of her partner who died suddenly last October.
PC Lucy Otley, investigating, said: "I am appealing to the offenders to return the laptop to the police station as the victim is devastated at the loss of the irreplaceable photos of her partner who died suddenly last year."
If anyone witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence or has any information, they are urged to contact PC Otley at Aylesbury police station.
She can be contacted via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505 or if you do not want to speak to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111; they don't need to know your name, just what you know.
